MINSK, Nov. 15 (Xinhua) -- Belarus-China car maker BelGee launched sales of the re-styled Geely Emgrand 7 sedan at its dealers throughout Belarus on Thursday.

The model is available in five packages, with prices starting at 10,700 U.S. dollars for the standard package and up to 13,460 U.S. dollars for the luxury one.

In October, the plant released 600 cars of the model.

Gennady Svidersky, acting director general of BelGee, told reporters that the plant had already sold 7,000 vehicles in 2018. The most popular model is the Geely Atlas crossover.

The director predicts the BelGee sales will at least double next year. The company is negotiating with partners in Ukraine and Lithuania to boost sales, he added.
