MADRID, March 13 (Xinhua) -- Spanish share values rose by 0.34 percent on Wednesday with the benchmark stock market index Ibex-35 closing at 9,192.70 points.

A total of 26 of the 35 of the selected large companies saw their shares gain value in the day, while nine made losses.

Wednesday's best performer was the savings bank Banco Santander, with a 2.97 percent rise in share values, followed by another bank, Bankinter, with a 2.39 percent increase and airline group IAG, which saw shares increase by 2.08 percent.

The textile giant Inditex suffered a 4.45 percent fall in share prices, while energy company, Endesa saw share values reduced by 1.05 percent and there was a 0.60 percent loss in shares for another energy producer, Iberdrola.
