MUSCAT, Sept. 12 (Xinhua) -- Royal Opera House Muscat (ROHM) on Thursday night presented the famous opera "Carmen" to open its 2019-2020 season, which runs from Sept. 2019 to April 2020.

Carmen, an opera which lasts more than three hours in four chapters, revolves around a human story about love and jealousy.

Umberto Fanni, director general of ROHM told Xinhua that "it was presented in Dec. 2011 at ROHM and this is the second time but with so many changes."

Fanni added that the text, music and clothes are the same, but the orchestra and its leader have changed, noting that this time the orchestra is led by the famous Italian conductor Antonello Allemandi.
